Absolutely awful. He is a funny guy, I'll give him that. But I've literally learned nothing. And its finals week and I still don't know my grade because he won't finish grading tests from a month ago or just won't ive them back. It's horrible and I can't believe I wasted hundreds of dollars on this class.

yes he's a little vague, but there are only 3 exams and they are all based on 2 or 3 chapters from the text. and the text is actually really interesting. he also brings in movies, music, and humor to prove his points. you are a better person for taking his class. Because he graduated from Princeton he knows a lot of other famous sociologists too

I was working 40 hours a week on top of 18 credit hours and fell TOTALLY asleep in his class. Dr Hlad was pretty mad but when I told him why i was so tired, he said from then on, I could skip class whenever I needed and just email him to get what I missed. How cool is that? Plus, he was interesting.
