She is awesome and i can never forget the number of times she went in to the depth to explain something and then came right back on. She has an exclusive way of teaching and is perhaps the most humorous professor i have ever come across. Just participate and do her quizzes well and the essays will follow through automatically.

Nice personality, poor teacher. Spent an hour explaining 5 minutes worth of concepts. Speaks like a poet, not nearly technical enough for a teacher teaching practical writing. With such large class sizes meeting every student individually IS NOT A VALID TEACHING STYLE unless it's optional. Lecture isn't well structured, loose, redundant.

This prof is terrible, I would be failing my essays, I was told that if you go to see the prof outside class she would be easier , she wasnt very helpful when i met up with her to talk about my writing. I was more confused before seeing her even. she has quizes every week which are easy if you just read the stories. Essays are depth analysis...

If you take the initiative to see her often to improve your marks and such, she will be easier on you in some ways but overall, she is a really tough marker and her classes get REALLY boring as it's so redundant and she shuts down people's opinions when she asks for them in the first place.

Good teacher. Hard marker but very fair and will always help you to better your mark on your next essay. Classes could get a little boring, but it's the content's fault and not the teachers. Oh yeah, and I love how she always quotes the Simpsons. :)

Very good teacher and very student-oriented. Wants you to become a better essay writer but you have to take the initiative to meet with her outside of her class and on your own time. She's willing to do it. I wasn't, I never took the time to meet her, I wish I had though, I could have become a better essay writer.
