Dr.B is one of the sweetest most genuine teacher I've had a slippery rock. There is a poetry section which is super easy, short stories and a very easy group project you can present in front of class or do a project and then a novel. Somewhat read the stories and you'll do great. Take her if you get the chance best instructor I have ever had.

I loved Dr. Balok!! If you can take her before she retires, PLEASE do so. She was amazing. She's very understanding, and always had a smile on her face. Dr. Balok even brought our class donuts and bagels to eat before our final. She's a sweetheart, and she loves what she is doing. I wish I could take her again.

She's honestly the perfect example of a grandma. She's so nice and will help you with anything and she's really easy to talk to. If you don't understand anything she'll help you out. She's more concerned with you knowing the material than just giving you a grade. I'd highly recommend her.

Dr. Balok is so adorable! I can just image her baking a bunch of cookies for us, she's like everyones grandma. She teaches because she really cares about the students and our education. She wants everyone to always go to her for extra help and makes you feel very welcomed. She can be silly sometimes but very lenient grader and with due dates.

Take Balok! She is the sweetest lady you will ever meet. She is a nice older lady that really cares about each of her students. If you are going to take her do it now because next year is her last year before she retires. This class is also super easy and she keeps it interesting.
