I took Dr. Jones my very first quarter of college and she made me much less nervous than I already was with her hilarious jokes. She is an amazing professor and she did a great job moderating very helpful discussions during class. There isn't very much homework and this class was super interesting as well!

Comment:

Jones is a great, no-nonsense teacher. Class consists of 1/2 lecture material and 1/2 book material. Lectures are engaging, visual, and informative. Her coverage of colonialism and other world conquests came across as a matter of fact, objective, and sober rather than hysterical. She inspired me to want to travel and learn more about the world!

I love Dr. Jones. She is very passionate about her class and uses relevant and powerful material in her class for us to take away from. She understands that we all have struggles in life sometimes and she'll take the time to consider your story. She is one of my favorite professor ever at this school.

God Bless this woman. Unlike many professors, she understands that we have other classes and needs to tend to. You have extra time to make up assignments and exams. Her personality is amazing and is very easy to understand. Just do your hw folders and study for the exams using the study guide. Would totally take her again and highly recommend

Dr. Jones is the definition of black excellence. Class was slight work. Quizzes every week, chapters are short and easy. Weekly worksheets are given and you watch many interesting videos. Every lecture was interesting and current with world news. Never had a boring class. Group work is usual. Easy class yo, take it. Jones is funny & makes class fun

Dr. Jones is an amazing professor. I took her for Social Issues and her lectures and class activities truly make you see the world in a different perspective. Her class consists of videos, worksheets and groupwork. Her tests are pretty easy and she gives study guides which are exactly what the tests and quizzes are based on.

Sneaky busy class. Sometimes you think you're all caught up and then boom two weeks worth of handouts are due, and you have an exam. Go to class, stay on top of the hand outs and you should do fine. Exams are actually harder then you first think. So memorize countries and CAPITALS. I really enjoyed her lectures, and shes very nice.

I'd really like her approach for this course. There are weekly quizzes, and questions will not come as a surprise. Incorporating the extra credit system boost grade level's and were really interesting. Be prepare to study the countries as you'll dive across different section's of the world. It was a blast having Jennifer.

One of the worst teachers I've ever had. She leaves everything to the book and group work, going around the class and patronizing people a group at a time. Very "me" oriented and utterly absurd in her requirements. Put something in a folder backwards or upside-down? Sorry, no credit. Her chosen book? Informal, ridiculous, and sometimes incorrect.

She will make Chapter easier and clear to understand. She always put us in groups of four and discuss the chapter. Her class is easy and I recommend you to take it. I really don't read the book but she cover the most important part and I just past. I will take her other class again.

It is an easy class if you keep up with the readings and are engaged during the lectures. Make sure to come to class and to participate and you will get an A. Tests are easy, but getting help outside of class is a nightmare and she is horrible with replying to emails.

I feel more intelligent each day after attending this class! You will not regret signing up for this. She makes lectures fun by adding humor and telling interesting stories. This lady has been and lived everywhere, so she knows the topics she talks about from first-hand experience! Show up, take notes, and do the study guides to ace this class.
