i got a 4.0 in his class. he is easy. workload is pretty light too. he did seem to talk about irrelevant subjects alot, though. but i couldnt care less, i got my 4.0, so it doesnt matter. he is extremely laid back.

Phil Droke is the man! No other teacher has been able to explain the economic way of thinking better than him. I took him for Econ 110 and 211 and I learned so much about economics. Plus his class is fun! Somedays you just sit there and talk about fishing, or cannabis. He is a chill teacher and very smart. What more could you ask for?

This professor lectured, we took quizes. Thats pretty much how it went the whole quarter. He has a fine sense of humor which makes the class a bit more interesting but I think a bit more involvement with the whole class in general would help. Involvement rather than homework and quizes.

Worst. Teacher. Ever. Dropped the class because I wasn't learning anything. Four weeks, two pages of notes --I copy everything. Talked all about his pay scale, his vacations, etc. Then we got quizzed on macroeconomics weekly. I never passed one. Lectures are rambles, and cheating is not only allowed --it is like class "policy."

Little value, slightly higher entertainment. The class is very casual, with "off the top of the head" type lectures. Didn't read text books. Just check out online quizzes and study guide. Ask about the Junior Achievement option, it's well worth the time. Ask friends for old tests, didn't change the pool of questions he pulls from.

He is not a very good teacher, I have to say talks too much about other things, but relates really good to the real life, which makes it more interesting. It's easy if u do the JR, and listen to his lect. cuz his quizes r straight from lect. I think it made more sense to me bcuz i already got down 212 w/ another instr., that's a really good 1.

I now attend WWU, and am taking Macro, and not only is it much harder, I haven't learned half the things that Droke taught me... why? Because Droke may ramble on and on, but he relates Economics to life, which helps a lot in my oppinion

He is freaking hilarious!!! Almost everyone takes his classes in order to graduate. His lectures are extermely funny, his class is not too hard. Just do the extra credit and jr. achievement. I would reccoment this teacher to anyone. 4.0 will not be so hard to get in his classes. Take his class!!!

I did Junior Achievement and got a 4.0 (when I should have got a 3.0). My friend bombed all the test below a 2.0 and ended getting a 2.7 by doing extra credit. Tests are really difficult, but the final is just made up the pevious quizzes.

tests are easy if you attend class daily. Do the Junior ACheivment- gives you 100's on all assignments and you dont have to actually do anything but talk to little kids. I got an A too.
