This class was harder than I expected but was very straight forward in that you study note cards and notes thouroughly before the quizzes and tests and get A's. If you want to know you're are history, she'll pound it into you. Don't take it for a blow off, she is nice though.

way to hard. 5 min late goes to an absent. takes attendance,. I WOULD RATHER TAKE CALCULUS FOR TEN YEARS STRAIGHT THAN DO ART HISTORY FOR ONE SEMESTER. Better yet, I WOULD RATHER FIGHT A GRIZZLY BEAR, WHILE BLINDFOLDED. the only 2 words I have for her is: "Never again"

Don't freak out about the archeticture Jen! Well I just can't tell you how much fun I had trying really hard and still getting a D. But there is hope though, if you write down everything she says and memorize the book. Quizzes suck too unless u have a photographic memory. Don't take her!

Talks way too long,hard to keep paying attention to right down notes. best thing is to just listen to her, and read the book. there are questions on her exams that are only in the book. slide quizs are easy, but not worth much points.exams are difficult and hard to study for, all on useless details.

I would NOT recommend this class to anyone who did not have to take it! It is a waste of time because it is pure memorization of useless facts and DATES- about 40 per quiz-each quiz is worth 1/2 a letter grade- that you will NEVER use again if you are not an art hist major. Don't waste your time!

A very difficult, but rewarding class. Be prepared to study for a long time to remember everything for the slide quizzes. Note taking is a must and if you take good notes, the tests will be cakewalk. Take it only if this interests you, or you will hate it.

Her multiple choice tests are on her powerpoint lectures, but the lectures are on the art, and vocab that are given on the syllabus. Attendance was 10% of the grade. It's an easy class if you study an hour/day a week before the test.

Worst teacher ever. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and took her twice (111 and 112) and both courses were equally crappy. If you like to kiss up to get good grades, take her course...if you are intelligent in the least, however, don't.
