Professor is very helpful, but class is way too advanced. The only students doing good were those with prior experience in computer programming. Avoid if you are not familiar with computer language. Book was required but we never used, I read the book but none of the information in the book is related to class material.

OMG, nightmare! NOT an intro class. Too advanced. The people passing were comp nerds that obviously have prior exp. Focuses on a few outstanding ppl. Open labs, but who goes on a weekend?!? Unless ur a comp major, avoid like the plague. I learned more from classmates who could explain better, and tutors who don't even know C programming. No book.

The only thing I was worried about was failing his course because I'd forget about the class. Never went to class because everything is SUPER EASY! He likes to crack jokes that aren't even funny then he would laugh histerically, which is quite funny cause it sounds like a horse with asthma.

For someone who is not majoring in computers, I found this class to be super difficult and confusing. I dropped. He spoke in a manner that was super technical. It was as if he had an attitude like, this is super easy, this stuff bores me, and he didnt take the time to really help. Thats how I felt.

The only problem with this class is that he likes pulling practical jokes on his exams by often subtle changes in the problems. There is at least one point of extra credit (out of 100 in the semester) on each test and set of homework problems. He gives previous tests examples in advance. It helps.

all of you that say that there is no lecture and that it is hard, its becuase you all never go to class. he gives the OPTION to show up to lectures, and when you do, he is very helpful and also is available during office hours. class is extremely easy.
