Dr. J is a great professor. If you are an OSD student, I recommend finding a note taker, as is very lecture-heavy. Make sure to do a reading in the textbook for each chapter covered in class because she will pull questions from the book without covering it in class. There are lots of extra credit opportunities to listen to panel presentations.

Dr. Jenrette is a goddess on earth and any bad reviews of her are a reflection of the reviewers laziness, not her teaching. Her classes can be tough because she expects a lot from her students, but you'll learn a lot and she's always available to help. This woman truly is my rock and Edinboro University would probably fall apart without her.

This woman is my queen. I would not have a Bachelors degree or a Masters degree without everything she did for me in my academic career. If you're a prospective student of EUP it is vital you take a class with her.

I love Dr. Jenrette. She may seem tough at first but she's really approachable in and out of class. She will give help if you just ask. She's patient and really wants you to do well. Her course work may be heavy but she gives ample time and will always help. I'd take her again in a heartbeat. And she likes those who participate.

If you are a first semester freshman, i would avoid her classes. She is a very nice woman and a fantastic professor, but her class is tough. I ended up dropping because i couldn't keep up.

By far the best professor I have ever had! She definitely knows the content she teaches. She is always willing to help. She does not grade too harshly. Just do the assignments and show up to class and you will succeed. I would love to take her again!

I really liked her. I felt she was definitely approachable both in and out of class. The textbooks are useful. I missed a night class and didn't fall behind because I read the corresponding section. Yes, she loves research projects. I did mine in a day and got an A. Really, just go to class and you'll be fine.

The class was fairly easy, and the lectures were interesting enough for me as an Accounting major to stay attentive. She seems tough at first but is a great professor and is respected by all students which is the way a University should operate as a whole. If you come to class, pay attention, take notes, and browse through the textbook at least a minimal amount, you'll do good.

Just go to class and do what she asks. Take notes and follow along with her list of key terms. She always tries to be funny or relate history to modernity, which works well (for some people).

You only have two tests the whole semester and you have to go to class or you won't know anything that is going on. You have to read the text book because if you don't then you won't pass the tests.

She needs to get her mind out of the gutter. Class was easy; oh-so-glad I did not go to her office hours a second time. Weird dynamic - She wants to "protect" us female students from those nasty, mean men. Why she wanted to discuss this over a glass of buttery Chardonnay, you tell me?

By far the worst professor I have ever had. She doesn't lecture at all. She relies too heavily on the reading. She makes you read a book a week while doing other homework plus a 30 page paper. She expects everyone to only have her class and no other life. NEVER take her. I cannot stress that enough.

My first professor in history. Made the lectures very interesting and always explained everything in detail (note-taking is a must). My favorite class that semester, definitely recommended to anyone wanting to get out of American Civilazations.

I took her class online and I would not reccommend it to anyone. She asks questions for you to respond to from the lecture notes but doesn't lecture you on it until you answer! There is a lot of work. Her notes don't always make sense and they get tedious; one lecture was 29 pages long.

I will 2nd the fact that she is a nice professor, but DO NOT take her class as a freshmen. The work load was insane, and the tests were way to hard for a first year class. I chose to drop her class before it dropped my GPA. I learned things, but it was overall a waste of my time...sorry Jenrette.

DO NOT TAKE SALEM WITCH TRIALS! Her tests are nearly impossible at first and the info you need to know is overwhelming. Super nice Prof. but this class shouldn't be taken by ANY incomming freshmen.

At first, I didn't like the class, considering it's length of time. But, I love it now. She does tend to go rather fast, but I love how she is so into the topics she discusses. My class is also rather small, which makes for a better atmosphere. Yay for Jenrette! (ONE THING...Tests are mostly fill in the blank)

She talks really fast and doesn't really clarify what she's talking about. She explains things like your a little kid. The material for the class is kind of interesting...but she makes it boing
