Class is what you would expect. Gives 60 word, excel, and powerpoint assignments, 20 of each. Each section has an exam. Final is non-cumulative. Pretty easy but takes time. Professor offers lots of extra credit. When asking questions you'll have to figure out the answer yourself based on what he tells you.

This was not the easiest class but not the most difficult either. However, you are basically teaching yourself using the book with this course. Exams are very lengthy and (I believe) they increase in difficulty throughout the semester. Gives lots of extra credit though. Must do work outside of class too. Hardly any lectures.

He gets off topic a lot and usually it's about awkward things like computers taking over the world. His lectures are some of the most boring and underdeveloped lectures I've ever had in my 3 years of going to school, and his tests cover such a wide range of information, most of which he merely glosses over during class. Pretty terrible professor

Avoid him. He doesn't teach, you have to learn from the textbook. The only reason I passed this class is because I kept all my notes from when I took precalc in high school and referred back to them

If you've ever used Microsoft office before, it's a pretty straight-forward class. The only students who struggle are the ones who don't slow down to read the directions. The class is easy and he is willing to help, just don't be intimidated by his personality.

He is a good teacher and knows the subject very well. It is mostly time consuming, but what is due is very clear and set out for you. The only thing is you actually have to take time out of class to do the homeworks. Otherwise, follow along in u book and you're golden. Test are rather hard, but he gives daily bonuses and the homework is easy pts!

Prof Molnar is not the easiest Professor, but I wouldn't say he is the hardest either. He gives tons of extra credit ops and tons of time to work on HW in class to ask questions. He always gave very descriptive explanations about what he was going to have on the test. His Excel test is CRAZY hard. I think maybe 1 person actually completed it.

This professor doesn't even have a PHD and taking this fact into account professor Molnar takes his shortcomings out on the students. Professor Molnar believes in the bell shape curve. You won't get an A off him he will throw the whole chapter at you or do something devious to knock your grade down. Molnar could be a real nightmare for your GPA

He started out ok but then we were going through a chapter every class and a half! The first test was on chapters 1-9 vocab was half the test and very hard to pass. Tons of work and goes at a really fast pass. I advise everyone to sty way unless there is no other option!!!

Prof. Molnar is really a very nice guy (although he starts out pretty scary.) I like HIM, but NOT his teaching abilities. He is one of those people who understands math so well that he doesn't realize he needs to thoroughly explain it to his students. Other math profs i've had would teach step-by-step through everything. Not this guy.Stay away!

Dr. J. Molnar is a great professor! He has some dry humor but he's very intelligent. He may look unapproachable but he's not. If you have a question, ask. He is very helpful. He shows you how to do the homework and gives you plenty of chances for extra credit. Do the homework & you'll do well on the test. I recommend you take him for this class!

I think you have to get to know him a little, just like he has to get to know you. He does give homework, but gives time in class to do it and ask questions. You have to earn your grade and I see nothing wrong with that, or him. He jokes around and is VERY helpful! I have been out of school 20 years and he's been very helpful and friendly.

After reading some of the previous posters I was flummoxed. I would think I had a different J. Molnar but I know it is the same person. I found him very helpful when you ask him for the help. He lectures for a small amount then let's you get at it. If you have questions just open up and ask and he answers with concise clear answers.

TERRIBLE. supposed to be an easy-A blow-off class & i got a C. TONS of homework, all right out of the book, half is extremely easy. only lectured maybe 3 times the whole semester, you just go in & work on homework. the tests, especially the final, are impossible to finish. not personable.

Very good professor. He teaches you to WORK and LEARN. He doesn't just hand out easy assignments live EVERY OTHER prof at EUP. You have to actually EARN your grade. He is helpful to those who SEEK his help. Overall, he actually prepares you for the REAL WORLD. If only the rest of EUP would follow him, the world would be better off...

Terrible professor. DO NOT take him unless you already know your stuff like the back of your hand. Overloads you with hw and extremely behind on grading. Tests are tricky and long, and will not let you stay later taking them. I'll be happy if I get a D in his class.

Terrible. Worst prof ever. Not helpful at all, expects you to know everything about stuff he doesn't teach, ridiculous amounts of homework, good luck on tests. DO NOT TAKE HIM.
