Great math professor! Definitely don't know if I could have passed without him. He is very interested in his students and helping them as much as possible. Very generous grader, will give partial credit if you attempt a problem. He understands math is not everybody's thing and does what he can for you.

I can honestly say I hate math and I am horrible at it but Mr. Brown is so helpful! He shows you how to do everything step by step and is more than happy to help with your questions! BEST MATH TEACHER EVER!

Good professor, though he does give the LONG way of how to solve a problem, he knows his stuff. Attendance isn't necessary, just come whenever and get your worksheets, and turn them in with your binder. Other than that you have test and can use your chpt review test to help you out. And all homework answers are in the back of the book.

Confusing at times, but review the CH before class. He shows diff. ways to work everything. Works hard to get you to Math 140 level. Doesnt mind helping you understand. Lots of homework, but its worth it. It' be hard to fail his class. My gripes: He can't hear well and students should show him more respect than they do.

He really wants you to understand and cares about his students. Gives big curves on tests. You have to maintain a folder which is a big inconvenience. I personally couldn't understant his teaching at all!! I think i will retain nothing from this class. I like him as a person but hate his teaching methods.

He is a nice guy but does not need to be teaching. He is too old and repeats himself over and over. He gives a ton of unnecessary homework that is impossible to do because he doesnt explain himself very well in class. He goes too fast and gives you worksheets AND tons of bookwork every night. Avoid him if at all possible!

Professor Brown is one of a kind. I hate math and I am scared of it. Trust me if he see's that you are making progress on tests then he will pass you. Plus if you do all of your notebook, then you get a C. Without Professor Brown I will not be graduating.

He would have 10 different things going on at once.. notebook, roll call sheets, maples, ect. He is a super smart and nice man with good intentions for the students. Take him if you hate math.
