Although I found him to be a slightly hard marker, he's still my favourite prof. His passion and enthusiasm are extremely contagious and it didn't take long until I was browsing the poetry section in various book stores for my own reading. I hope to take more courses with him in the future.

Ken was a great teacher, a little unclear at times, but overall he was fun. I enjoyed chatting with him and he can really relate to students. He has a high level of understanding. I didn't find his class all that interesting (not a poetry fan!) but he made it pretty fun.

If you're scared of poetry but need to take it, take it with Ken. He makes it very interesting, and is sooo enthusiastic about it. He marks a bit on the tough side, but then again, I'm not so hot at poetry either! But I enjoyed going to class because it was him that taught it. One of the better profs at MRC, that's for sure.

What a great teacher.He make the most boring literature really interesting. Make sure you actually do the readings though because he gets everyone in the class to talk about the readings. He was by far my most fav. teacher. Hard marker on the essays though.He doesn't want a typical 5 paragraph essay;still not sure what he really wanted.

AHH! i freaking hated this man. A. he has convulsions during class and B. he NEVER stays on topic. One second he's talking about a poet, the next he speaks of his dog. Make sure never to ****this man off with your opinions. He takes everything as an offense.

Amazing teacher. He loves poetry and makes everyone love it with him. I had a night class, which was 3 hours once a week, and it just flew by. Thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommended.
