Dr. Exline is the sweetest person but he's very old and slow. The content is SO boring. He requires all students to write a 20 page paper about an artist & their work. He'll give you a study guide for tests (Just ask). Super oldschool- makes you call in to his cell if you're missing class. Calls on you randomly. BUT class is such an easy A for VPA.

seems like a nice enough guy but in class Barely goes over any of the readings and Gets fixated on irrelevant subjects. Grades on three things: midterm, 1 paper, and a final. Overall an easy grader and will give you the answers for the midterm/final beforehand as a study guide, there is no formal study guide or criteria for papers. Wont take again

He's a great professor who took the time to know every student. Very funny, and clearly knows his stuff. You can definitely tell that he is very passionate and loves what he does. Goes over everything thoroughly and tells you exactly what is expected on the midterm, final, and what he expects for the term paper. Best professor I've had at Le Moyne!

Dr. Exline really cares about his students, and is just an awesome person. He grades very fairly, and his homework assignments are easy and ungraded. Made me love art again.

I was excited about it before but the professor is annoying. he didnt give out a syllabus until it was too late to drop his class. he gives way toooo much work for an elective class. the course could be good but only if there was another professor! i would not reccommend this class b/c of the lack of effort shown s
