The tests will be your greatest challenge, 10 free response questions with a study guide of over 30+ questions. But with the free response it's treated like a multiple choice, all or nothing (rarely gives half credit). He's a nice guy but look for Bowman for CIS151!

yes he gives pop quizes, but you can use your notes so in reality it is easy to get his signature "check mark" on them. His exams are taken directly from the hw so as long as you do the hw you will be fine. the day before the exam you can ask as specific questions as your want and he will answer. for projects you can fire group members.

Flatto gives a quiz for every chapter that you are allowed to use you notes on. It's usually only one short answer question. There are a lot of assignments, but they're from the book and easy. His tests are the hardest part, but they're also questions straight from the book and his study guide. Do your work and you'll get a good grade.

This was such an easy class; I do not know why so many students got a C or lower. He lets students use notes for the quizzes, and he gives a study guide for the tests. The project was a waste of time, but it was also easy. Prof. Flatto was very willing to help students if they asked.

Very boring class. Too many projects. But the professor is very helpful and has a sense of humor. Tests weren't that great either but I liked that he had a study guide and gave examples for the projects.
