Frau Ebeling is really nice and helpful. She is very clear of what she wants and her tests are super easy. If you are someone who dislikes participating and talking infront of the class then I suggest you not to take this course. You are gonna have to talk a lot in german

She is a great professor. Very structured and well laid out class. She is very helpful and makes the class very enjoyable. Provides study guides. Can't say enough good things about her. She's great. She makes sure to speak both German and English so you can easily followunderstand. She's über fantastich!

The best German teacher you could hope for! Extremely prepared, organised, funny, understanding, helpful, teacher with just enough punch to keep you interested and in line. Very fortunate to have her as a professor. The Kontakte textbook isn't mandatory but the workbook is.

Frau Ebeling was such a good teacher, I hadn't expected such a good professor in my first semester in college. Her classes are always planned ahead and taught very clearly. She even prints the slides out for you, so all you have to do is note the things you need to study. very organized, and very helpful.

Frau Ebeling is a very good teacher. I love and truly enjoy German class. Thought that German would be super hard since it seems extremely different from my first language, but thanks to her teaching, it isn't. Only thing I don't like is the talking activities, you can't use the people near you. Overall, a great teacher though.

I love Ulrike as a teacher- she's extremely approachable and helpful, and I found her hilarious. She even learns your name! Unfortunately, I found the majority of the students in this section immature and annoying and because of all the partner work we had to do, I didn't enjoy this class as much as I thought I would. Definitely not her fault.

She is awesome and she gets nicer and nicer the higher up you get in German. The problem is not with her, but with the lab teacher Frau Hoebrucke... the labs are dull and you feel like you are being judged for every little mistake.

she is one of the best profs that i have ever had. yes u have to work hard and prepare well for the class. if u are willing to put the time to study a bit of german everyday, this class is a piece of cake.hse is a nice lady. very helpful and clear on what she wants.tests are fair.do the homeworks!! put in the effort it is very possible to get an A+

Ulrike is a great teacher! she wants you to do well in her class. she gives you a bit of tough love to push you to do your best. speak in class! do as much interaction in class as possible and enjoy it. She makes it very easy to learn and an environment where you wont fear judgement or fear saying the wrong answer. awesome teacher!

It's painful for a totally new german learner to take her class,especially when you don't have enough time to do the preparation. The problem for the germany to teach this course is they don't know where is the difficulty for the beginners, typical for the none english speakers.
