a little more than 30% of all of his classes this semester passed. He wont grade homework, quizzes are given the class after his lightning speed confusing lecture, and he doesnt reply to emails or help you in office hours. The other teachers are allowing test corrections and helping my friends pass, while this wonderful teacher does nothing.

70% of the class failed, 30% passed. Class average grade before the exam was a 40%. All tests are multiple choice, with no partial credit, and equally weighed with quizzes. Homework is not graded, tests are not scaled. He does not post grades online, so you do not know your average grade. Don't take.

Praise the math Gods! Jerry is a great guy, yes very quirky, but his lectures are very clear and he takes time to explain more things if you ask questions. Goes through the examples and always goes over homework before the quizzes, just pay attention!

Comment:
Jerry's class is like a bad trip. He talks too quickly, erases notes too quickly and assigns homework every class and he is not very helpful during office hours. I don't know what the other reviews took with him but within five minutes of class I was already confused and Jerry was not interested in slowing class down or explaining things easily.

By far the best MA professor I have ever had. He is funny and personable in his own way, with clear and fair grading and multiple opportunities to fix an occasional bad exam/quiz score. He is passionate about teaching and does so very well, going at a great pace.

Easily my favorite math professor thus far. Very smart guy who cares about teaching his students. Has a quirky dry sense of humor which made class entertaining. Lectures were clear and concise and he builds in a day of review each week. Generous with partial credit on problems, and makes homework optional. If he doesn't know answer, he'll find out

Lombardo is the best! He is a little quirky, but that's what makes his class more interesting than typical math classes. If you turn in all your homework on time, he'll usually drop your lowest test score. Be sure to ask questions when you are about to turn in the homework! It'll help you do well on his quizzes and tests.

Had to retake Calc 3 and man am I glad I got Prof Lombardo. His lectures were very clear and he will always make sure everyone is on the same page. You'll have to study for an exam but he won't test you on anything you haven't learned. Hands down would take him again.

All of the positive remarks are true. He really is a great professor. The best part of his personality is that he will literally answer any question you have. Some professor frown at you if you ask a simple algebra question in a calculus class, but Dr. Lombardo will take an extra two min and clarify if needed. No question too big or too small.

Lombardo is AMAZING! He is the only reason I passed Calc 1. I took him again in Calc 2 and passed as well. Speaks perfect English. Awesome lectures and examples. If you go to him during office hours or ask questions in class he will answer them very clearly.

his jokes are so funny! he keeps the class engaged and when it comes for teaching he's the best! he cares a lot about his students. He love to help everybody and wants everyone to understand. He gives a brief review for the exam if you study it well you will get an easy A. and as a bonus he doesn't ask for a textbook, he provides all the materials

Professor Lombardo is hands down probably the best math teacher in embry riddle. There's just the way that he teaches that works perfectly for me. He's very clear and he works in the order that will allow his teachers to understand WHY they're doing certain applications. Would take him for all 3 MA classes if I could, that's for sure!
