He is a very thoughtful, literate, and fun prof who is very passionate about physics(just read his skeptic guide to physics @ musr.physics.ubc.ca/jess), and a damn good champion athlete, great personality too! I personally loved his lectures, but a word of advise from my friend, take PHYS102 instead if you are don't know what he is talking about...
