One of the worst professors I have had. She yells at people to take notes. Exams are difficult. Every exam had to be curved because students did ao bad. Went to visit her during office hours and i left more confused.

I thought Professor Caviligia-Harris was amazing! She helped me study every single day from the start of the semester all the way to the end. She was so invested in making sure I was able to understand the material and always gave me great feedback and helpful studying hints. Difficult class, but if you put in the effort you will do well.

I am an ECON major and enjoy it. Keep that in mind as you read this. Dr. Caviglia-Harris is very knowledgeable on the subject. She reinforces her lectures with real world examples. However, there are only a handful of assignments. Many students dropped after the first exam. So study hard if you take her. She is also best for ECON majors.

Don't take this teacher. Her test are so hard and even with the curve you'll still fail. Her lectures are confusing and she is not clear. Did all the problems and watched the videos and barely got by with a C. Avoid her is you can.

Extremely unhelpful, and her tests were almost impossible. She never really teaches and when you ask her questions she gets really confused and has trouble giving a clear answer. I worked extremely hard in this class to merely pass.

Had to retake her class. She made it a point to mention to the whole class that I was taking it again. Alot of her material had errors. When explaining something she just made the material more confusing. Go to her office hours, do practice problems, and copy the aplia questions into Google to find the answers. I had an A up until the end.

Hardest class taken at school. She thinks everyone understands what is going on but then everyone fails the exams. She knows students do poorly and still does not change her curriculum. Avoid this class.

I put participation matters because she has no idea when the class is not understanding anything. She is very peppy which is sometimes too much, but she doesn't do a very good job explaining things. Sometimes she is wrong and wont admit to it very easily. She is a stickler for attendance and you better not be late.

Don't take her. The class started off easy, but then it started getting hard. It was obvious the entire class never knew what was going on. Her wording of questions on test and quizzes don't match the lecture and homeworks, and negatively affects your grade, borderline impossible to better than get a C if you aren't an Econ major

Tests are hard and poorly worded. You can get 90's on homeworks and quizzes and still end up with 60's on tests. Feels like half the things that are on the tests you didn't learn. On the other hand, she is willing to help and lectures are important and usually interesting. Hard class.

She is so unorganized. Do yourself a favor and RUN AWAY. Each exam is like 25-30% of your grade. The "homework's" are actually quizzes. Not a lot of office hours. Content is confusing enough without the unorganized professor.

Prof. Harris is a great professor. She works hard to make sure you have the knowledge and tools necessary to succeed. There are a lot of notes and online assignments but if you pay attention and keep up you can absolutely do well in the class. I highly recommend her

She has a different teaching style compared to the other econ teachers and it works out perfectly, at least for me. She really goes through everything in great detail and if you ask her to explain things she will to the best of her abilities. The tests are hard but thankfully HW counts as a test and she drops quite a few grades.

She is helpful if you go to her office hours. However, this is unhelpful because what is taught in class is different then the home work. What is on the home work is different then what is on the tests which has nothing to do with either the homework or class work. Overall horrible teacher.

Hard to find a teacher who explains things any better than her. She writes EVERYTHING on the board and you should copy it all. Grades pretty hard and if you don't put in a lot of effort, she will tear you up! I loved her, most everyone else couldn't stand her.

I don't think she is a bad teacher, the class itself is just really hard. Sit up front, get on her good side and make sure she knows your name as soon as possible (she starts with little name cards and a seating chart). Also take a lot of notes, I recommend copying everything she puts on the board and doing practice problems to help memorize the in

Terrible teacher. Most of her notes and class work did nothing to prepare students for the test. On top of that. she didn't care if the students got the material or not. I suggest take another teacher.
