Do the assignments & you'll pass. Several one-page reading responses throughout, as well as a group presentation & an 8 page paper due at the end. Other than that not much english work was done, more like conversations about current events or honestly whatever is on her mind atm. Jill is super caring, really quirky but overall an amazing professor.

Jill is such a sweet person, but we hardly did anything in class. We wrote three papers that we had to turn in at the end of the semester. Around 7 one-paged reading responses that were very easy. No tests. Very easy A as long as you have all your work done at the end of the semester. If you want a fun, stress-free class, then I recommend her!

Bro this class is WILD. Literally didnt learn a single English thing all semester. People didnt show up for the entire SEMESTER and still passed. Im still baffled that this was my 201 English class

Professor Kinkade is the sweetest. She's quirky and truly cares about all her students above all else. She does a portfolio grade, so you won't have a grade except for midterm and finals, which is weird. There's several reading responses, 3 papers (one 8-10 pages), and a group presentation. Pretty easy A, but a high-quality one.

Professor Kinkade is a great professor. She cares about each of her students. She cancels class every now and then and will push back the deadlines frequently if she deems necessary. Highly recommend her class!

She has a very artsy soul. She likes to learn about her students and genuinely care about you. She is a bit scatter brained so you have to come to class to really know whats going on. She does not email well. I love her and her class . She grades easy and gives you a lot of freedom on paper topics.

Jill is one of the sweetest ladies you could meet. She's kind of quirky and different, and gets off topic extremely easily, but she's fun and super helpful. easy grader, flexible with due dates, and loves in class discussion. no tests or quizzes. Easy A!

I cannot say enough how wonderful this woman is. She goes above and beyond with her role as a professor by reaching out and getting to know you as a person and pushing you toward success. She lives life fully and is simply just a joy to be around. She will do whatever she can to help you, and with that being said this should be an easy A class.

TAKE HER!!!! She is so "chill" for lack of a better term. She is very understanding about not having a paper done on time. She does encourage group participation and speaking. Grades are ONLY the portfolio, participation and attendance. There are no test, quizzes, etc. I love Jill!
