Comment:

This course is hard and there is no other way to explain it. There is so much material and he wants you to know it in detail. It is a third level course so I think these expectations are justified. It is not impossible to do well, just work hard and keep up on material. His lectures are rather quick, but he does a good job explaining them.

I found it very hard to follow what he was saying in class and his notes were equally confusing. This course contains a lot of material and you are expected to know the smallest details from each slide. He is a nice person but not a good teacher in my opinion.

Dr. Mulligan is amazing. He is such a nice guy and actually cares about how well his students do. I think he makes a great Department Head. He makes you work for your grade but it's so rewarding to receive an A from him, you know you truly deserved it. He doesn't pick favorites! I had an A and he didnt know me in 3107/4103! Work and you'll get it!

MIDTERMS ARE INSANE, esp the second. not an elective course. Brillent lectures, one of the better profs I've EVER had. Insanly high expectations. Takes his work seriously and is very fair and consistent. Gives you everything you need to do well, but who has time to cover THAT much material???

Didn't like him. Don't recommend this course as elective. Way too many web notes! He definitely has favorites. For those of you who have to take the course, be prepared to be on either his good side or cranky moody side.

It's hard to peg this guy. Good lecturer, but assumes students know every detail from their prereqs.Also big on rxn mechanisms, which 2440 students don't learn. Says he wants you to ask him questions but avoids you after class. Nice enough though.
