Dr. Onega is GREAT! I loved the class that I took with her and I took her class again as soon as I possibly could. She's an amazing professor, very nurturing and encouraging. I had her for both Utopian Lit and Composition Studies. I would take her again if I had the chance.

Dr. Onega is a great teacher, she loves to talk and engage students in discusions, thus reading texts before class is very helpful. Papers are challenging at first but she gives clear guidelines and tips and makes it easy. I did leave the class with a sence of accomplishment despite the fact that I got a B- and had written good papers. Oh well.

loved her class! she has a lot of open-ended discussions in class and that is where the best moments in class come up. she loves hearing student's ideas and loves helping them when she gives awesome essay topics. Dr. Onega is the best freshman comp professor you can take so don't miss out on her class!

I'm not much of a Lit fan, but she's an okay teacher. She's funny and openly engages you into the text. She gave us options for our tests, but she says she is changing the method in the Fall. There were two out of class options and then the chance to take an in-class test if you desired. Glad to be through with it though!

Very impressive professor. I wish all UAH prof were like this one. She really cares about her students, your thoughts and ideas. You don't have to think like the teacher to get a good grade! You can be yourself! Great book picks. Great personality, funny, and interesting. I recommend this one VERY highly!
