Worst professor I have ever had. Unclear lectures and cannot explain anything well. Makes numerous mistakes, lashes out at the class when they point them out, and makes stupid excuses for why she is wrong. I have learned more from reading bathroom stall graffiti than I have in her class. If there is any way to avoid taking her class, do it.

Literally the worst professor I have ever had. Calc has always been my favorite subject, but now I dread the two times a week I have to walk into her class and stare unknowingly at the board while she makes mistakes and writes down random pieces of information without explaining them. Please do yourself a favor and sign up for another section.

Have her as visiting professor at Tufts. The worst prof. I have ever had. Impatient w/ answering q's and unhelpful during office hours (kept trying to tell me to look back in my textbook, rather than take the time to explain). I was originally enthusiastic about this course but now I abhor it. Continually disappointed at her poor teaching quality.

Her lectures are mostly clear, but if you ask too many questions she'll stop answering them. If you go to her for help she will be unhelpful if she thinks she covered it enough in class already. Quizzes and exams are actually graded pretty fairly. Not a horrible teacher, but you're on your own for making sure you understand the material.

She is the most horrible professor I have had in MOHO.In fact,she is 1 of the most terrible person I have ever met.She picks her fav and it doesnt depend on how much work you put in her class.She makes a lot of mistakes in class but u're bttr off NOT pointin them out.If u want a gud grade go to off hrs not for help but to tell how wonderful she is.

Worst professor I have ever met. I struggled so much with this class and got no help from her at all. I basically had to fight with her to get a tutor on top of going to the Math Help 3-4 nights per week. Whenever I could go to her few office hours, I felt like she was attacking me and kept rewording the questions that I asked. Very unhelpful.

It's not that the class is all that hard. I even got a good grade, but that was by reading the book and asking friends who had taking the class last semester (with a different prof) for help. Office hours weren't helpful. No point asking questions in class because she can't explain material more than one way. Really, I wish I'd switched sections.

Professor McLeod first seems like a nice teacher who cares about what you have to say. But it is just a facade. She works out problems in class that make no sense to anyone without a PHD in mathematics. Her exams are difficult and irrelevant. She cannot admit she is wrong when she is. It seems like she is trying prove something. Beware!!

I have spent more time on her class than I have for most of my other classes put together, but the end result is a mastery of the material assigned and confidence in my abilities as a mathematician. wow the person who rated 4 posts ago could not be more delusional. there were plenty of people who got their work done on time, including myself; she was still condescending. if she can't answer your questions she'll just say "i don't understand what you're saying" and explain something completely different, or she'll just ignore you completely.

Pretty horrible prof... If you have to take a course with her (and only take a course with her if there is no way in heaven or hell that you can get out of it) take full advantage of evening help sessions... unless you're one of the genius kids you won't get a good HW grade without help. Sucking it up and going to office hours is a good idea too.
