Bugg is one of the best professors I've had. Explains very difficult concepts beautifully. Make sure to take notes, he explains things so well it almost seems easy. Tests are brutal but fair

Just like his reviews for ME227, the class is pretty tough, and the exams are brutal. Assignments are long, but are incredibly useful. Bugg is a great prof who gives very good lectures, so go to class, take lots of notes, study hard and you'll know your stuff.

Bugg is a great prof, and does an excellent job teaching this tough class. Everything in the course builds on itself so make sure you ask for help early. All the questions are application, so the hardest part of answering questions is setting up the equation based on the diagram. Once you have the equation, its simple plug and chug to the answer.

The marking for this class is riduclous. I remember losing marks for not making assumptions that were told in the question. But he's an excellent teacher though. A bit dry, but teaches you good!

Bugg does an excellent job with the material he has to cover. It can be dry and horrible but he makes it as quick as possible without skipping anything. Tough assignments and exams (that look super easy when he does them) but you've gotta learn it and he can teach it.

Gives excellent lectures and never once says "It can be shown that ... but that's beyond the scope of this course". If something is legitimately too complex, he'll dumb it down if he has to. Assignments are long, exams are rough, but by the end, you'll know your stuff.

JB is a great professor. Good notes and assignments. His tests are really hard but there's no surprises - you know exactly what to study. He's very helpful outside of class, and has stayed until almost 11pm at tutorials.

Prof. Bugg is always organized, and gives excellent notes. He has a great sense of humour at times and is ALWAYS willing to help you with assignments or general questions. Overall his courses, 471 included, are difficult but rewarding. I highly recommend taking any course you can from him.

The classes Prof. Bugg teaches are fairly difficult courses and I have to say that he does a very good job at bringing a great deal of understanding to his lectures. He's extremely approachable and helpful out of class and I'm looking forward to having him as a future professor!
