A very charming person but can teach all lecture period. Can become boring and by all means study the book! A few classmates were upset with him when he flat out refused to help us remarking "why should I take the time out to do that?" What he says is going to be on the test can be misleading. Take caution.

He is SO nice, and extremely helpful if you need help. Definitely makes you think, it's a very difficult class but the professor is so great I recommend it to everyone!!

Very knowledgable, lectures the whole class sometimes can get very boring if you're not 100% interested in the material, has habit of repeating himself over his powerpoints, tests are quite easy.

One of the best professors I've ever had at BU! Really focused on the overal concepts (which is what is really important) and his lectures are great. His tests are fair and he graded every single one of them very promptly. Great guy! Great Professor! A++

He is very concerned about the big picture of the cell and how things are interacting and moving about. Very technique based (to properly understand how biology is discovered), very image based (to build intitution size and scale and to show concepts).
