Really good professor! 3 essays (including final essay). He grades your initial draft, gives you clear points of improvement, and then grades your revision as well. Pretty easy class. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!

He is a funny guy, but as far as teaching goes he is not very good at it. He goes off on random tangents all period long. You never have to go to class because he doesn't teach anything. Yet when he finally assigns something to do he grades it really hard which sucks because there are only 3 papers all semester. Waste of TIME!!!

Horrible teacher. Misses class all the time and picks favorites. Appears intelligent to those who have limited knowledge of what he talks about. Low class teacher with a meaningless doctorate. He needs to retire now because an incoming hardworking doctorate student would deserve it much more.

He is an adorable man because he loves life and takes pride in his teaching! Sometimes he tends to ramble about nonsense but when he gets down to business he makes sure to explain everything carefully, answering questions and clarifying it all. He liked my writing so it helped a lot but he is a liberally grader and cares dearly about his students!

One of the best professors I've encountered at SDSU. Class is extremely laid back, as this class should be, and he is very intellectually stimulating. Attendance is optional, but I would come to class because it is often fun. He is a very positive professor!

Best teacher ever! I had him for 100 & 200. only 3 papers all can be revised. classes are fun and so is he. He even sings for the class sometimes. really helped me with my writing during conferences about our papers. Make sure you write down what he says and put it in your essay, he really likes that. overall really easy and enjoyable class.

I HATED this class. Although I feel as if I'm going to get a grade and we never really had to read and only had 3 essays, Mack is completely incomprehensible and talks about the same two commercials ALL SEMESTER. He's just irritating. I don't recommend taking him, even if it might be an easy A.

easy A. My favorite class cause it didn't feel like a class at all. He would come in drinking his peabodys not starbucks coffee, hold his chalk like a cigarette and just talk with the class. really cool guy. Always extends paper deadlines, i mean always, also really easy topics to write about. i heard the topics are the same every year/semester.

This guy is awesome. He's so random!he is very flexible with due dates and he doesnt care if you go to class or not.hes really laid back. His classes have the perfect college student atmosphere.i forget im sitting in class. need to write 3 papers which all of them can be revised. and hes an easy grader. I liked him. A little weird. 3 essays, had to revise them (except for the final) He gave helpful comments on my essays in conferences, and emailed everyone answers to questions to try to help with our writing. If you go to class, you'll know what to write on your essays. Can be a little boring though and he talks pretty much the whole time

he's very strange..nice tho. if u speak up he likes you, if not he doesnt notice u. i was in a 60 person class, only 15 of us ever showed up after the 1st week. i skipped like twice, but the essays are easier if u go to class, there's only 3 essays in this class, no tests,never did the readings and still am getting like a B. sorta easy but boring.
