Needham knows loads about the industry. He tells great stories from life lessons. You NEED to know your writing skills. Every little punctuation matters in this class. This will be tough for you if you don't know your grammar.

Needham is a hard teacher, but is fun to learn from. If you read over your papers and get help from the writing center you will do well. DO NOT BE LATE FOR THIS CLASS. He has an extremely tough attendance policy that you will pay for if you miss class!

All papers are 3 pages, no more, no less. All you do in this class is watch movies and then write a paper over them. Be sure to use proper grammar, because he is very strict on it. His assignments don't leave much for the imagination; he tells you exactly what to put in them. Go to class, check your grammar, and you will get an "A"

I do not enjoy this prof. He doesn't know what he's teaching most of the time - his definitions contradict each other, and he can't explain why. He grades extra hard on grammar, but he doesn't teach grammar in class. We just watch movies and write papers - I don't know what the point of the class is.

I gave him a high mark for clarity b/c he tells you what he wants, but I gave him a low mark for helpfulness b/c he's not a very personable, considerate teacher and he isn't helpful except in telling you what he will look for in terms of grading. Actually, I got an A, and I'm scared of him!
