Dr. Nickoloff has been the influential professor I have ever had. The passion and understanding he brings into the classroom leaves me in awe after every session. I had him at the Univ. of Miami for the last two years. He is amazing!!!

Best professor I have had at Holy Cross. An expert in his field, he leads great class discussions and really knows what he is doing. Sometimes discussion can go off in a random direction--but the hour class goes by quickly. He's leaving next semester--try to get into his last class!

He's amazing. So sad he's not going to be here next year. He's smart and incredibly kind--cares so much about his students. His classes aren't easy: 1 page position papers can be difficult, but he makes you think. Runs class like a seminar, even if it isn't. Generally, he's a great guy. I love him!

The class was interesting always, on topic sometimes...I really enjoyed the discussions, but at times we really diverged from the subject material. Prof. Nickoloff is a great guy, and led discussions pretty well. I would have liked more sides of some issues that were discussed, however. Good class.

Nickoloff is a terrific professor and a great man. He cares intensely about students and that you take something away from his class. Although the readings can be extremely boring and repetitive, he does his best. In all, one of the best I've had.

he is extremely smart--to the point where it is slightly scary--intimidating to speak in class for freshman but he is aware of it. some matieral is boring but he is an easy grader and gives very good notes. doesnt take attendance either.
