I find his methods are not exactly the best methods to teach the materials. He does help with homework and will go over anything If you are having trouble. He is a hard marker on exams and such but you are pretty well prepared usually.

Karsten is a god. He's super clear on the board. Will explain any assignment question you ask, in class. I was bad at math before this course, he helped. His hair is phenomenal, don't get distracted by that or the hand that's not holding the chalk. Super enthusiastic, talks loud, prepares you well for tests. Highly recommend!

He doesn't refer to any notes but attacks the chalkboard. How does he do it? This guy is a classic, and a genuis for sure. That's why midterms are hard, he thinks they are soooo easy. Great prof, I recommend all his classes.
