horrible prof. He seems to be too smart for his class, he quietly and unintelligibly runs through the material in a monotone voice and seems always unimpressed. He has a thick accent and doesnt use a mic. I dropped his class and will resume with a different prof.

Makes me want to drop Calculus. Can't understand a word he says, his handwriting is incomprehensible, he speaks WAY too quietly for the size of the room. Not only that, but keeps the light on while using the projector so it's hard to see his bad writing. Avoid unless you wish to go insane.

Sichler is a nice old man, but he is the worst professor I've had after 3 years in math. He gives NO indication of which problems to do and which sections to study (he jumps between 2 texts and doesn't follow the order of either), gives only 4 short assignments for a 6 ch course, and rarely is helpful outside of class. Avoid if you can.

Simply awful! His writing is undecipherable, his notes are taken directly from the book, which doesn't explain well to begin with! Barely any examples given to clarify the material. The few assignments don't reflect the material on the final (and there's no midterm for this 6 credit hour course!). Caused students to lose interest in math!

One of the worst professors I have ever had. His accent is incomprehensible, his writing - completely illegible. Assignments are scarce and do not reflect the course content. Does not provide solutions for anything. No midterm - just a horrifying final exam with no information about it.

He does know his subject extremely well, and if you already have knowledge in the subject he is probably more helpful. With that said first year classes are definently not for him. Unless plan on teaching it too yourself. Wait to take one of his courses when your more familiar with the subject.

This guy is the worst prof u'll get.While they're other profs who don't have spaces in their classes; this guy's class won't even fit in the first row. Take my advice, save your money or to get special permission in other profs class.

This prof (I use the term loosely) is useless.I attended lectures to exclusively aquire quiz dates and material,attending for the purpose of learning calculus is not recommended.Yes he does have an undecipherable method of speaking, and his attempt at clarifying course material is worse.Seriously if you can avoid this prof,do it.Buy Grant's book!!

Youll never understand what hes saying because he mumbles and doesnt speak properly. His writing is****, you cant make out the words on the overhead. He makes extremely simple things extremely complicated. Takes extremely long to explain something simple. He just SUCKS. WASTE ENGINEERING TIME.

From the czech republic, this man's accent is as hard to interpret as his writing. Additionally, he is soft-spoken and mumbles so that even in the first row, he is hard to hear. Where most classes will lose up to 50%, he has lost 90%
