I never forgot her from my freshman year. It was 2001, and shortly after 911. I wrote something she thought was good, and she encouraged me to send it to the Baltimore Sun. They actually published it. I don't get the paper, and didn't know...she brought it to class and had me read it. She was the sweetest.

Very nice lady. Wants all of her students to become better writers. She anally critiques your papers but allows you to redo them for better grades. I got an A-. I should have got an A but I missed a couple classes. Show up and you'll get at least a B-.

Excellent professor. She is very insightful and her name is actually Joan. Attendance is pertinent and she lets you out of class early. Your final is a paper and she is easy to talk to. Her grading is very harsh especially on grammar. But it's FAIR!

Shes the sweetest. She tries to be so helpful and I really think she is. We have group discussions about nothing in particular in every class and it makes the class more fun. If you dont like to volunteer information in class though you may get bored
