She really expects alot out of a student especially if you are a parent. The final paper is horrible she made us go to the University libary and look up material because Sac citys wasn't good enough. I didn't like that. I pay to go here not there. I always made D or C on essays but I passed her class bearly!!! Don't take her to old fashioned.

no matter how hard i try in her class, i for some reason always ended up with a C on my papers...and no it was not because i don't capitalize my i's when needed. she was still pretty good at what she was doing.

This class is the hardest english class I have ever taken. I have received an A+ on every essay I've ever written since middle school and she gave me B's, which was also my end grade in the class. She is boring and old fashioned. Very strict about punctuality and grammar, more so than the actual content. Good luck guys....

She is the worst english teacher on campus. She will not consider the content of your writing if you grammar is not of "her" standard. She uses quite a bit of outdated rules to slaughter your work. She is a failed writer with a chip on her shoulder. You will not learn how to write in her class.

HARD. Run away and never look back. Even other English professors comment that she is the most difficult English teacher in the school. She is very mean and sarcastic. Do not ask dumb questions, do not be late, do not be absent becuase she WILL drop you like a bad habit.

She's very strict, punctual, and maybe even authoritarian, but she knows her stuff. She tends to make one feel small without coming right out and saying it (or sometimes showing her anger right in class - not professional). But over time she warmed up a little.
