Professor Malley-Morrison was AMAZING! I look forward to taking another class with her, she really want you to learn and do well. She was so helpful. Great to take a summer Psych course with! She gave us the book as a PDF on course website, too! I love her!

She uses two books in this class which you may as well just read and forget about sitting in the class because she likes you to regurgitate pretty much everything in the book. Also shows a lot of ancient videos. She does like new opinions but only if you show you can cite her first. However she really cares about her subject and her students.

If you want to learn anything about violence and abuse policy, prevalence, case studies, she is definitely the prof to take. Looked at lots of case studies which helped clarify the book to see real examples. Interesting material. She has tons of experience and makes that clear. She is beyond sweet too and will be more than willing to help.

She is totally unclear. So much of what she says is contradictory. Horrible teacher - probably the worst I have ever had at BU. Boring. She lets student who don't do well on tests retake them which isn't fair to students who do well the first time. No feedback on papers. Would definitely not recommend.

Super nice person. Really cares about her students. She is extremely knowledgeable and a seasoned teacher. Her class is challenging but doable by all means. Definitely recommend this instructor for experimental. Walked away from the class with a strong foundation for doing research.

Such a great mentor. Kathie structures the class to give you the right support to do independent work and work as a research team with your peers. She's also wonderfully committed to giving students who want it opportunities and the support to publish or present at conferences.

I have learned a lot from her about the psychology of war. It was an interesting course with movies, with invited speakers, with group work and exercises. No tests or exams. Frequent written reports about assigned readings and a final paper with presentation. Low stress course.
