THIS IS THE BEST TEACHER I HAVE HAD AT CNU. Genuine, kind, you learn a LOT! Got a B+ in the class, 2 A's and 2 C's on the tests. Lectures with examples that help a lot. Gives extra credit. You must be diligent about going to every class, but it really isn't a pain. SUCH A NICE LADY.

I really like her as a person, she is super nice and really cares about all of her students. The class has way too much content for one class. The outlines are given to you and she reads straight off of them which kinda eliminates the actual need to go to class but if you do go to every class you get 10+ extra credit points which is nice.

If you're taking 491, you might have had her for 310. Those who took her in 310 know how rough it is. 491 is no different. A LOT of work, 1 one-hour group presentation, a 12-15 page term paper, and a 20 minute presentation of the paper. Most work is done by week 12 with 16 weeks in the semester. BUT, the course teaches a lot and is very beneficial!

Very nice lady, but the class sucks! WAY too many conflicting due dates (too many things due on the same date). The class has three presentations and none of them are below 30 minutes long. The amount of work in this class leaves no time for other classes so good luck if you venture to take it! BUT, EC for good attendance so there's a plus.

Two completely distinct personalities in one person. If you stroke her ego, you get an A. Tick her off and you get an F. She teaches nothing except the book and destroys you for being a second late. EVERY test expect a low grade which you will need to raise by stroking her ego and by doing extra credit work. Jekyl/Hyde. You call this teaching?!?

I definitely recommend taking her. The tests can be hard but you can easily make up for it with the ethics paper (follow the example and you'll get an A). She also offers alot of extra credit. Just a tip: read test questions thoroughly because she uses alot of "excepts" in her questions. Also don't bother taking notes. Just print the notes offline.

She splits the class into two sections, the first 7 weeks you work by yourself out of the text book, which isn't bad. Then the rest of the class is all group work. We had to read a book by a woman, and therefore most conversations drifted towards why men were bad. She seems like a nice lady, but she holds grudges and is not a fair grader.

Dr.McMahon is an excellent teacher. She makes class interative and very amusing and entertaining. She opens her class up to discussion of all kinds and let's you express your opinions freely and without being nervous. Her tests make you really think, but in the end you will have learned a lot! Also BUSN 300, she def. is a very nice teacher, & makes class fun * interactive & what not. But she is a very hard grader, and unless she likes you, won't cut you slack on grading, good thing she likes me...Her projects in MGMT 310 are graded way too hard,just do what she wants done & you'll be fine in her class...miss 2 or less classes +10 points

ok she's a nice person. however-her tests are so freakin hard. i studied her outlines for 8 hours and got a 50 on the exam. there's so much info in this class it sucks. she makes her tests really tricky and our class average on the first two tests were a 60 and a 65. what does that tell you?

Thnk of kindergarden....but with tests....no really, there are so many in-class activites and random exercises. She gives A LOT of extra credit to make up for hard tests. The tests get confusing with many answers sounded similar.

First off, she's a nice person. Make sure you are on good ground with her. Tries to make every class interactive. She does her best to help the students. Provides chapter outlines. Tends to waste time on one topic when the class understands it. VERY STRICT attendance. Can get defensive if a comment doesn't favor her. Overall, she's okay.

Very Involved Class, not easy. You better read that book you buy, as its the basis for every exam. Class is always cool, shes not a great entertainer, but she keeps things engaging and it never drags. She also takes an interest in what students acomplish in her class. P.S. No curves strict attendance, be on time!
