Sweetest southern little lady you'll ever meet. She uses up to date teaching styles like instead of making you memorize formulas, you do most of the work online even during tests which is amazing. Definitely take her if you can.

I love Professor Kump! She is so cute and has a southern accent. She's so nice and teaches the material using an online app so you do not need to do the formulas by hand. Little homework and it's easy. Tests are easy as long as you know the material. She wants you to pass with a good grade. Do not buy the textbook, just the online code.

Worst teacher I ever had. You learn how to do everything online which will not help you in the real world. Her office hours do nothing and she goes so fast she does not explain anything. if you want to pass. do not take this lady. She is somewhat nice but if you ask for her to explain something over again, she'll say she already did.

She is a pretty good professor, there are only three exams and the final and you are allowed to use technology to calculate all your answers online making the tests a lot easier. The lectures are a little boring, but she tries to make them more interesting and she is happy to help you if you have questions.

Best math professor I've had so far! No formulas to remember, she lets you use your laptoptablet for the four exams. No need to buy the textbook, you only need the access code. The homework assignments are online and let you redo the question until you're right. Super easy class, super nice professor--highly recommend!

The tests are not hard if you pay attention in class during lecture. She is very helpful, but having a prior understanding to pre-calculus is key. The reviews before the exam are very helpful, so do them! Don't buy the book unless you plan on reading it and are not good at math to begin with.

I didn't like Kump very much. Tests were difficult, and I felt like I was playing catch up all class just to keep up with her. Annoying voice. I felt like she got impatient with students sometimes. She makes mistakes a lot--they're REALLY annoying on the reviews. She does give good reviews, and puts in work, but they're not always like the test.

Professor Kump is not that great of a teacher. Her lectures are boring, but we spend most of the time in the computer lab. She's not that hard of a grader and she's very nice, but teaching does not seem to be her forte. If you can take the class with someone else, I recommend doing so.

Sweet little southern bell. She is the nicest prof I've ever had, and this is one of the easiest classes I've ever had. What you do in class is exactly what is on the tests and you have to memorize very few formulas. Would absolutly recommend

So incredibly nice and a wonderful teacher. She likes to move quickly but is clear about what you are to understand and is really good at answering questions. She gets to know each student by name and is kind to everyone. I never had a stats class before and it was an easy A. LOVED HER

Talks way too fast, extremely unorganized class. The homework (on statlab) can get confusing and does not always pertain to the topic covered in class. Generally, I am a pretty solid math student. I would not recommend her.

very easy class as long as you ask questions if you do not understand something, she will explain it a million different ways until you get it, very easy and she went very slow, but i think that was cause my class always had a bunch of questions and you use mystatlab for hwrks with unlimited tries so you should always get 100% , the test are easy

By far the NICEST professor I have had. She wants to see you succeed, and she puts in a lot of effort to helping you learn the material. I highly recommend taking her. Go to class and listen and you will do perfectly fine. Also, the textbook is not necessary.

WORST TEACHER EVER! DO NOT TAKE HER! she writes the material on the board in class, but goes so fast you can't even catch it before it gets erased. If i didn't have a tutor reteaching me every second i would be failing. she does not explain anything, she just expects you to get it from copying and doesn't answer questions clearly.

She was an awesome teacher. Would definitely take another of her classes again. She was ALWAYS nice, genuinely cares about her students, and seems very happy to be teaching. The content itself was hard, and she does just blow right through it, so do ask for help if you feel you are not getting something. Tests are long, but she prepares you well.

If you want to do good with Kump, listen up. I am horrible at math, and didn't buy the book, still got a B+. I made use of her office hours, at least once a week. Did all of the homeworks. And reviewed the Exam reviews with her because they are basically the same as the test.
