You will do a few examples in class. Good amount of MyLab Hw. Graded homework is a few notches harder than what is done in class. She is just not very good at getting the steps across. Seems like a cool person tho!

I took the MAT037 this summer which was a hybrid with mandatory meetings twice a week. Attendance is VERY important and notes taken have to be very clear and organized. It was the easiest class I've ever taken and Im signing up for 137 with her this fall. She is tough but also fair. I did what she asked and I passed. simple as that.

It is June 25th, 2018. I am half way through this excruciating summer class. it is terrifying to think that my next exam is tomorrow and I have not learned any of the information. A pity really.... It's almost as if this professor is.... Not qualified? Heartless? Secretly a robot plotting our certain demise? you have a death wish? pick this prof:)

Spring for Math 137. You will bag to get a grade up to date. In addition, she never helps. Whatever homework you are sent home with, it is totally different from what you were able to learn in class. Her exams are very different from the review. When it comes to her office hours do not bother. She is not there for you.

Terrible attitude, constantly left classroom for random amounts of time, didn't have any patience to answer or help students. Obviously an expert in her field but why be a teacher if you don't want to teach?

After the first week of the semester, I realized i was going to need to step up my game or i wasnt going to be able to take my fall classes. great teacher as far as the material but is very tough in terms of grading, attendance, and other things. if you miss a class you will have to tell her in advance and have a note confirming it too.

I had Professor Collins this semester and she was terrible. She didn't give enough examples and didn't slow down for everyone to grasp what she was saying. Also, she never had an update grade, you could be failing an wouldn't even know it. I use to be really good at math but she made it hard to understand. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone.

This teacher was horrible. She was always late and left the classroom for like a half an hour every class to get coffee. She rarely gave us our grades and frequently lost homework that was turned in. DO NOT take her class.

First of all, she is constantly late to class but if you are late then she automatically takes points off. Secondly, she doesn't engage with trying to help students, although this is a computer based class she should still ask if anyone needs help. Instead, she comes in late, and walks in and out most of the time. She is rude, and stand offish.

she just does problems on the board and has a horrible habit of leaving the class and not coming back for a long period of time. She is always late 5 min or more and she will bust in the class write 3 problems then be gone for 30 minutes ! Not kidding! She has gone to subway on campus and come back during class. Also talks about retiring soon

She doesn't give out grades, doesn't let you know how you're progressing in the class. Horrible Professor just does problems on the board without any student interaction. A lot of pop quizes. If possible avoid this professor by any means. Also has a huge attitude problem if you ask her questions about grades, dates. doesn't like answering questions

She gave us like 500 problems for each section of the chapter. We never used the textbook. It was the hardest math class I have ever taken. If you miss one class, you will be behind. Definitely become friends with others in the class if you take this class. You will definitely appreciate it in the long run.

She has a horrible habit of writing problems down on the board for the students to complete, however, she always just solves it herself on the board and out loud before we can write it down. Also, we weren't made aware of our grades until less than 3 weeks of the course. She didn't post them online. Just terrible. I wouldn't recommend her at all.
