I did not even read the textbook once and I still managed to pass with an A-. He is a boring teacher and does not engage you what so ever, but he lets you use cheat sheets for everything and his lectures are always on the syllabus so you can pick which ones you want to go to. Just read the syllabus, and you'll do just fine.

I did not read for any assignment he has given us, barely took notes, and still managed to get an A-. He lets you use cheat sheets for everything. WARNING: He is extremely boring. Just read the syllabus and you'll do just fine. Only write down notes on the topics that you want to write your papers on. He lets you re-do things to get a better grade.

DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS! NO class participation, does not engage anyone and rambles the entire lecture. Yes there are only 3 assignments but it is NOT worth having to deal with him as a teacher. He gives you essay topics in syllabus so you write it before review class, but then you have to re-create an answer from memory in bluebooks! Ridiculous!

OK to get an A in this class you ABSOLUTELY NEED to do these things. First off you only take a midterm and a final, and he looks for how much information you put in! If you want a B then you NEED to fill up 2 blue books. If you want an A you NEED to fill up three or more! Just put a ton of information and you can even rant! Stay the whole 3 hours

Avoid this professor at all costs. I'm baffled by all the comments claiming his class was an easy A. I was a 4.0 student, and his class lowered my GPA --undeservingly, I might add -- and was generally a monumental waste of time and effort.

Everything the other posts said about his being dry like paste is VERY true but the subject is boaring as well. He is however a very easy A and a fair grader. He only requires 3 things a Midterm essay(which he gives you the question ahead of time for as well as let you bring a cheat sheet)(1) 4 page term paper and a final just like the midterm

After reading the previous comments I was nervous about having him as a professor. But this class was such an easy A. Although it was boring, he prepared you for the test questions, you were allowed to redo your ONLY term paper, and he talked about a lot of interesting stuff. You were also given an outline sheet for the test.I would take him again.

The course material itself is sort of complicated to understand but professor Lombardo tries to explain in in a few different ways. He gives you the topics for the midterm and final ahead of time so you can ask him for help. He will let you re-write your term paper if you're not happy. Not a tough grader. I loved the class!

i love philosophy, therefore, i thought i would love ethics. the topics in the text are the most interesting part of the class, but they arent mandatory to read. do nottt take this class, unless you want to fall asleep. ethics should be interesting. this professor doenst have the students get involved, and is very monatone with messy writing

He is really boring and there is little class participation, but the good thing about him is that you don't have to pay attention until the class before the midterm or final, which is an essay that you prepare notes on beforehand. He gives you the FULL answer if you ask in class and he's very lenient when it comes to handing the one term paper in.
