He was a really boring prof but his notes were decent. His lecture notes were posted after class so the only thing you needed to copy were examples and just listen. He had decently easy tests and, I thought, overall one of the better first year profs.

Not too bad of a professor, but rather dull. If you can pay attention in his class (rather hard to do at times), you'll find his lectures are helpful. Otherwise, his notes are online and very helpful when studying for exams. The final and midterms are straight-foward. Just do the problem sets and practice exams and you'll get a decent mark.

Dull class, basically teaches right out of the text book which sucks because he doesn't explain concepts very well, almost no need to attend class since notes are online and all he does is read them, midterms were average and the final was brutal.

Extremely boring class. Fall asleep every single lecture and didn't miss much either. To do well just look at his practice exams and study off the book.

His classes are so boring! I couldn't pay attention no matter how hard I tried and it was hard to study the way the notes were organized. The only thing that allowed me to pass was that his test are really super easy except watch out he had a mid term out of 10. Basically get everything right or fail!

He improves his teaching method a lot from not reading from the powerpoint, but his class still not interesting. The exam is very easy and straight forward from his note, sample test and problem sets. I dont feel good when talk with him, I came to talk to him with a smile but left with an uncomfortable feeling by the way he answer and look at me.

Probably one of the most annoying profs I've ever had. He's so useless, there's no point in going to class. I learned entirely from the text book and another teacher's notes I jacked from a friend. Avoid registering in his class at all costs! The only good thing are his minorly easy tests.

Nice prof! He makes pretty easy exams, and his lectures are helpful. If you ask him questions privately, you will find out he is a very nice person.

This guy is totally terrible. He reads off powerpoint slides. He is very boring and puts you to sleep. We started off with about 200 people by the end of the semester, we had half that #.If you can avoid taking this class, do so. You'll end up sleeping and skipping classes. Trust me, switch profs!

His lectures are pretty boring, but his tests are easy if you do the problem sets and read the notes. Class average was in the 70's.

Hey guys, he's not so bad. He's super nice if you know him outside of class. Albeit a little bit boring at times, cut him some slack - one of the nicest people I know after knowing him for 2 years

I slept more in this class than I did during the night. The only positive thing about the class is that every other student is clueless as to what is going on. Watch out for typos in the exams...

I think I had him when he first started teaching at the U of A. He was totally disorganized and couldn't spell. He used overheads at the time but I think he uses powerpoint. He could not control the class so he started kicking people out of class. No one would pay attention to him in class.

He is Ummmm. . .the worst ahhhhh. . .chem prof ever. He could make tying you shoe sound complicated. He has to work out painfully simple addition on the overhead. Dull and monotone voice.

Worst prof I've ever had. Reads from prepared powerpoint slides in a monotone without looking up. By the middle of the semester, maybe 2/3 of the class didn't come to class at all, and most of the rest of us slept through it.
