love him! very nice and funny. 3 exams, 1 final. exams are fair, and final is based on the exams. most students probably get As and Bs in his class. also, if you attend every class it is to your advantage because he replaces attendance for one exam grade. definitely take this class if you are somewhat interested in physics and need a GEP credit.

Great teacher. You know it's a good teacher when the only negative comment on this website is someone who's obviously not been the best of students...

Great Professor, long as you show up and understand everything from terms to theories. Easy exams because he basically gives you the clues and the practices are similar to it. I would had got a A if i wasnt sleeping too much and missing the classes....

Attendance taken, used to boost up people's grades. This class was SO MUCH FUN. He is a hilarious old man. Few tests but he gives review sheets with exact info you need to study. Go to class and take lots of notes. Tests based on lectures! And don't waste your money on the textbook. I spent $95 and i didn't open it ONCE! Take him! He's great!

Very nice, funny, good professor. You look forward to coming to his class. Is very interested in physics and talks about his earlier life in connection with different topics. Would reccomend every student have him at least once. I wouldn't call it an automatic A, but you must do extremely bad on more then one test to get worse then a B.

Easy class. Pay attention to his examples he gives in class because the same concepts are on the tests. NO MATH. Take about 2hrs before each test(4) to go over the examples in the book (pages listed on the syllabus). Reserves a book and teacher's manual in the library so you do not need to buy the book. 1 of the closest to an "easy A" at UMBC.

Great teacher. You can tell that he really wants everyone to do well. Even if for some reason you do poorly on his tests, he allows your attendance to up your grade (as long as you show up). I just got done studying for his final, and it took me about a half hour. Does a good job keeping the lecture hall awake with videos and cool demonstrations.

The best science teacher! He presents the class so that you become really interested in learning physics. Not like other science classes (sci 101!) that make you want to run away from science. I was able to completely understand a TV program on Einstein after this class. Too bad most university teachers arnt as down to earth and realistic as Sinsky

Hard to imagine a better physics professor. He presents material in a very interesting and unique way, because above all he wants to get his students as excited about the subject as he is. Has a lot of energy, and is obviously passionate about Physics. Three exams and a final, no homework. I truly enjoyed the class and learned alot of Physics.

This class wasn't as easy as I had wished. BUT it is FAR LESS HARDER than any other college physics course. 3 quizzes and 1 final that's it. He gives review sheets. His sense of humour makes up for my B/C's haha. I LOVE HIS PERSONALITY. Plus he throws out free chocolate every class :)
