His modern physics class permanently changed the way I view the universe, an changed the direction of my goals. He was the first professor who was able to pull back the curtain for me, and allow me to try to understand the true nature of the universe. The repercussions of what you learn in this course change all future physics coursework. Cool!

HAVE MERCY THIS MAN IS UTTERLY SUBJECTIVE IN HIS DEALINGS WITH STUDENTS. SEEMS TO HAVE UNDERLYING VENDETTAS AGAINST PARTICULAR STUDENTS. NOT EXTRAORDINARILY PROFESSIONAL; VERY ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT SUBJECT, HOWEVER SEEMS TO TAKE IT PERSONALLY IF YOU DO NOT HOLD THE SAME OR GREATER DEGREE OF ENTHUSIASM. THIS MAN HAS PERSONAL/EMOTIONAL ISSUES. GOD BLESS

Most boring teacher this semester. Consume massive caffeine before going to class. Material is too much and too complicated for a 100 level course and more math based than concept based. Tests are open book but still difficult. Read, try to pay attention, and do some of the practice problems in the book- not graded, but very helpful.

Material is not that tough. Doesn't check or grade homework. Tests are tough, but not impossible. He is nice but the class is super super boring. If you can stay awake, pay attention, and do the little problems he goes over in class, then you should get an A.

Way too difficult for a 100 level course. Rambles on and on, you never get past Galileo, even though it's supposed to be a survey of history. Very unclear with math formulas. Never finishes class on time, so exepect to stay 3-5 minutes late every day. Test are impossible and he doesn't prepare you.

Having graduates from Scranton, I liked most of my professors except for Dr. Kalafut. He puts little time into preparation or planning and does not give a care as to whether you understand the material or not. He should leave teaching.
