Probably my least favorite class yet. He assigns several papers that you can "write about anything in any format", and then grades ridiculously difficult with little explanation why. He's arrogant and constantly brings up that he works in the Dean's office. I would not take another class with him.

BORING as all hell. Hes a decent prof and does provide some dry humor but the subject matter wasn't my thing. With that said, the tests are easy but he grades the papers hard.

Amazing professor! Really knows his stuff! He loves what he does! Papers were difficult, but it's a 300 level class... what do you expect. Overall a great class. Read and take good notes and you'll be fine!

previous comment was a little biased, I hardly attended class and still pulled of a pretty good grade, the papers help, mainly due to the fact they are easy flowing papers. he is a great teacher who sides with students on many campus issues.

He is a terrible professor. He insults Ferris every chance he gets. His test are hard, plus he puts two answers that are basically the same, that he himself could not even chose the right one. He gets pleasure out of his students failing. I would recommend that everyone should stay away from him.

Great Professor, Very helpful outside of class. Lots of quizzes on the reading in psych 150, but in Psych 325 you have to write 4 papers. Papers are relatively easy and he always hands out extra points. He rarely gives extra credit and you better believe he is at every class. Overall they are fun classes and realtively easy.

I took Sex and gender with him. It was a very interesting class. I would recomend this class to all psych majors. He makes you work though. After all, it is a 400 level class

I am a psyc. major, his tests are fairly easy just b/c that's how most psyc. tests are, but his papers are stupid and ridiculous, he grades them way too hard! He thinks he's funny, when really he's not. I'd avoid him, he's the kind of person where you laugh at his jokes just to be nice.

Tests super hard, papers ridiculous, when teaching to non psych majors one needs to adjust. This guy wants us all to love psych like he does. There is very little class participation and in general a snoozefest. Would rather take meinholdt as she is the lesser of the two evils.

I believe he is one of the best professors at this college. He knows the material, is passionate about what he teaches, and takes the time to explain things, and make his lectures fun and learnable. Despite his quirkyness I was able to endure him for 2 classes in a row, thats about 4 hours of Karafa and still pulled away with a B+ and an A.

overall a really good teacher. his class is alot of fun, and he tries to you help you as much as he can if you ask for it. he gives alot of quizes but they arent hard. but the tests are hard. he's got a good sense of humor too.
