I disagree that Drucker is full of herself. She was helpful/available for office hours to discuss anything not clearly presented during lectures (which I recommend attending). Great teacher and an interesting woman. She jokes with some of the concepts, engaging the entire lecture room at times in laughter. Take with TA Kristen Taylor if possible.

Comment:
As a lecturer, Drucker won't put you to sleep but won't compel you to come to class either. Her lectures are simply supplements to the readings -- a forum for asking questions and seeking clarification rather than a true debate or discussion. She does not strive to be Master Lecturer. Accomplished, Drucker is still open to intelligence in the room.

Nice, supportive, helpful, constructive outside the classroom, but has her own agenda in the classroom. If she were more flexible about it, it'd be fine, but she doesn't seem open to new/different readings of texts. I also thought her class was absurdly easy. She's a nice person one-on-one, maybe an independent study is the way to go.

Great to talk to or to have as an advisor, not so hot as a teacher. It's a challenge to keep up with her train of thought during lectures, and she won't stop to pick you back up. She's brilliant and gives plenty of room for creativity (or slacking), but by the same token, beware of vague and often difficult requirements for assignments.

Like everyone else has said, incredibly full of herself... the MDST program isn't well-respected enough to be worth some of the classes in it... I'd recommend just taking the ones you like, and leave the major alone.
