although he does have the credentials to teach International Business classes. He is not a very helpful professor. I felt like I was going into the test completely blind. I was not expecting him to feed me material for the tests, but he was not helpful on how to improve for the next tests.

He teaches using cases and slides. He is an interesting professor with personal experience within international business. However, he goes on tangents within class. There really isn't a reason anyone should fail this class.

John Anderson is the best senior lecturer I have ever had. He has travelled all over the world and knows his stuff. I really enjoyed listening to his real life stories and experiences. He has an open door policy and is always there for his students. I can't say enough about him! You must take one of his classes!

I was an exchange student attending John Anderson's lectures at the Fall semester 2012. My time at those lectures was amazing and a learnt a lot with him. I had never had before in my live such a professor, so inspirational and so experienced in international affairs like him. If you have a change to attend his classes I truly recommend it.

Anderson's first exam was impossible. A few of the questions were from his slides from another class and a book he told us was optional. I spent a week studying and ended up with an 82. I'm pretty sure almost no one passed because his next exam was the easiest exam I've ever taken. Go to class because he mentions small things that appear on exams.

Mr. Anderson is a great teacher. I feel bad that he has to teach this class in such a short time window, but he does great with it. He has traveled and worked all over the world, and really does know his stuff with international business. Read the book and listen to his lectures and you should be fine.

Mr. Anderson's lectures were a little dry and at times very boring; however, I think this class is an easy A. I went to class for every lecture and took notes, then when it came time to study I literally just memorized the power point slides and made A's on both of his exams. He's a very nice man if you get to know him!

Comment:
Anderson's portion of 361 is ridiculous. He has changed the course from past semesters. He tells you things aren't going to be tested, then asks questions about it on the exam. Class is boring (only around 25 people show up during the weeks he teaches) and simply reads off the slides. Read the book and look at the presenter notes on the slides

Does not even make his own slides! He's test questions are random nitpicky things from the slides. Going to his class is just a huge waste of time. Luckily Baker is a great professor and balances out Anderson's poor teaching skills.

Great teacher. Class is boring but his exams are super easy. Attendance is not required. He posts all lectures online. If you want to hear his stories, go to class - its actually fun; study TERMS for exams (he says they aren't on there but study the terms). Interesting work experience.

I would say this can possibly be the most boring lecture class i've ever take. Boring lectures, everything he talks in class has absolutely nothing to do with the tests. I only went to his class 3 times. PPTs are posted on blackboard, i encourage y'all read the ppts, and know the slides well. Flashcards are helpful! Good Luck

Great class overall. Very lenient on grading. He said at the beginning of the semester that the majority of the class gets A's. No textbook but you buy a packet of case studies worth around $35 total.

Class is a complete waste of time. Nothing he talks about is test relevant and he gives full powerpoints. You're better off reading the powerpoints for an hour by yourself than going to class. Tests are ok just know the slides inside and out.

Okay... Do well on Ken Baker's portion. Do not attend a single John Anderson class because it's a waste of your time unless you want to listen to his stories for an hour and a half. To study for his tests, know the notes below his powerpoints like the back of your hand... You should be able to pull off a high B or low A that way.

Anderson is not as hard as people say, but if he was more direct about what material would be on his exams students would do better.

Literally the most boring class I've ever sat through. His tests are unreasonably hard. Memorize all the 6 million power point slides and you could maybe do well on his half of the section. I wouldn't recommend going to class either.

This should be the easiest upper division class yet no matter how much I studied the simple content, attended class, and read the textbook I got Ds on his tests. I got As on Bakers tests which luckily compensated. This entire class is based on the slides a company made.
