Professor Barrett was an amazing professor! He responded to emails very quickly and sent out reminders before assignments were due. Assignments were due almost everyday but they were all easy even the group projects. Very easy A. TAKE HIM!!!

Professor Barrett is awesome! This is first time I have taken an English class and really really enjoyed it. I took him during a flex term and although something was due everyday it was fun to do and the essay were fun and relatable. I recommend him to EVERYONE!

I took online course during spring along with 5 major courses in my university. He seems very helpful. Assignments are not overwhelming. As long as you do your work, you should be fine. Highly recommended professor.

Never met a professor so passionate about what he does. HE IS A MUST TAKE. I loved my En1301 and I'm taking him again for En2311. He is super clear and will help you out. Very comprehensive and can relate to online students. The work is easy if you find passion in what you are writing. Took him in an 8week course. I aced it! :)

Took this class as an 8 week flex course. There is absolutely no reason you shouldn't pass this class. Very manageable while working full-time. He gives clear directions and the work itself is clearly laid out and understandable. Would take him again.

Dr. Barrett is an amazing professor. Its a lot of work, reading, quizzes, discussions and working in groups, but you will learn a lot. Dr. Barrett is very helpful and will reply to emails fast. Provides wonderful feedback and has a great teaching philosophy. His class is one, that if you are not gifted in english, that will provide growth and stability. It is not a hard class but his assignments are so structured and his feed back is so great that there is no way you couldn't benefit! Low word count on assignments, easy research paper!

Readings are all online. They are very interesting and you learn plenty from them and your writings. DB's allow for great discussions among your classmates. If you do your work, you pretty much get a good grade. It was a very enjoyable course and I'd recommend all to take it.

I took his 6 week composition I online course. Since the course I specifically took was only 6 weeks there is an assignment due EVERY night Monday through Friday. If you have time each day to put into the course, I highly recommend this professor. He fairly grades and gives great feedback. The assignments are pretty easy as well as the 4 essays.

Mr. Barrett online course is for the discipline. You pretty much have an assignment due every other day of about 250 words. Thats Simple. As long as you just do it you should recieve at least a B in the class. No book required. Just take the time out to get the work done.

Wayyyyyyyyy to fast paced for a summer online class. I took two classes before his class this summer and those were much easy to handle. This teacher made the class write 3000-4000 words worth of material in the first week. The reason people take online classes are so they can juggle an education and work and this was not one of those classes
