I've taken Byrne twice. There are 4 (small) papers, 1 take home midterm, 1 in class final and a final- which I prefer over just a midterm/final. He is a fair and flexible grader. You must participate in class. I only opened the textbook to study for the final. Sometimes class can be boring, but usually conversation is engaging and interesting.

Tough Grader. 4 Case studies (3-5 Pages), Take-home midterm, In-Class final, 1 Group presentation (20 minutes timed) and paper (40 pages). He has a tendency to go on tangents that are irrelevant and the lectures are directly from the slides. There's a good amount of work, but if you manage your time well, you can finish it all in the first half of the semester.

He makes you do 4 case studies and he grades them a bit toughly. Case studies should be at least 5 pages. Midterm is a take home, and the final is in-class. One big group project at the end of the semester. He wants you to participate in class, but he doesn't randomly call on students. Seems like a nice guy, but I think I deserve a higher grade.

I really enjoyed Dr. Byrne, although his class is far from easy. The tests aren't bad, but the group project is hard work. Make sure to pick your team carefully and find people that can write, as the paper is a huge portion and you don't want to spend hours editing it.

Pretty easy class, but there is a lot of work. 4 small papers, 1 big group paper, 1 group presentation and 2 exams. The text book is small and easy to read. Most of the reading for class comes from HBR articles which you have to buy each week. Interesting class overall and the professor is very knowledgable.

unquestionably the worst professor I have ever had. He is very rude to students, and only talks about how great he is. I learned NOTHING from him except for how to be belittled. I got an -A, but still feel that he is a mean spirited, poor teacher.

Completely Useless Professor. Doesn't know teaching. Waste of time. Always demean and ridicule all the students and tries to prove he knows anything and everything in this world. Totally biased to students whom he like and reflect that in Grades as well.Never take him.

He was OK. 4 case studies by the end of the term, and that Glo-bus game and project, which will stress you out-but in the end its not so bad. Mid term and final multiple choice. I thought he was a lenient grader.

He's very knowledgeable and he knows how to teach. If you're interested in learning, take his class. He gives a lot of work: 4 case studies, 2 exams, group project and presentation but it's worth it. If you're lazy and wants an easy A, don't take his class.
