The class was online and he gave a very clear syllabus for the entire semester which was very helpful. Not always a quick grader as he often made you wait for feedback. He also could be slow with answers to questions. But overall not a bad professor

I wish I had taken more classes with him. Knows his stuff and actually teaches as opposed to reading slides and phoning it in. Has a good rapport with many students so that tells you what a good guy he is. He'll be missed around campus.

The professor is very knowledgeable.He has a lot of real world experience, but he is not a teacher. Read and read again the chapters in the assigned book. There are a few books at Barnes&Noble that better explain some of topics covered in this class.

Course was formated to maker professors job easy. test are made by test generator from book publisher using Respondus. Which grades test , Professor doesn't even have to come to work. Course was a disappointment, Crowley was only Professor teaching networking. I am avoiding any class he is Professor even if it means going to another college for

Jokes around a lot, is very casual but knows the subject. You do HAVE to read the book. but he also goes over each chapter explaining the ideas behind them. The practice test questions were the exact ones used in real test and finals, which made passing easy. with some studying outside of class i easily passed comptia Net+ 2009 test with 98%

His class is very passable if you study. I have to take this class again and to be honest I can't wait. I understand how these people say he's full of himself but it's because he has lots of knowledge in the field and as he says, "This isn't 13th grade."

Great teacher, if you don't try or this class, you won't pass. I worked my butt off and I am in the field and I still got a bad grade but the fact he knows you try gives you the passing grade. Hes one of the few teachers where what ever he says sinks into my head rather than others who easily get me dazing off.

John is tough but very fair. He has high expectations of the class but not unrealistic. He knows the material and also has experience from the business world which adds to the learning experience. Definitely worth taking his class.
