Dear god, I'm not sure if he's still teaching, but please switch to another prof. if you have difficulty with math. Don't get me wrong, he's a nice guy, but his teaching style is so machine gun fast that before you can even copy down the problem to see if you understand, he's moved on to the next one. However, he did assign gratuitous ex credit.

He is a terrible teacher. He does not care if the students understand the material and he goes over things way too quickly. He offers minimal office hours and is hard to get in touch with. Stear clear if you can because he will only make an already difficult class all but impossible.

He goes way too fast in the class, and has horrible handwriting leading to bad notes. When learning an alien subject, however interesting, you need a better foundation than he could ever provide. If you are just starting his class, get out while you can, unless you really like independent study, because when he's teaching, you won't math from him,

Linear algebra with this professor is horrible, i go to the class because it gives me a good opportunity to study for anther class. My firends and i ended up having to teach the entire class to ourselves the night before exams, thank god he drops a test grade and the final is take home. :)

Took this a few years ago but duno if it's still structured the same way. This guy can't teach, but exams were EASY. I never went to class and just went to the review session for the exam and did the practice exam online. if you know how to do the practice exam then you'll ace the exams like me.

This class is great. Gives you some experience writing about interesting things and Fogarty is amazing. It's mostly conference based, and every time I went I would talk to him for a half an hour or more about anything... Take 370 with him, but NOT anything else!!!

Oh Foges. He is the greatest, but I wouldn't want to take a real math class with him. He is a funny, funny, old man with lots of stories if you get him going. So if you are taking 370, do it with him. But I wouldn't recommend him for anything lecture based! He is just... past his prime in that dept.

Fogarty sucks - he didn't teach anything that was on the tests. All he did was teach us how to do proofs, which were never on the tests and we were not exspected to know them. Don't take 131 with him!

Nice guy...terrible teacher. Calc is easy with any other prof. Go to other lectures if you can and you will do fine. Other profs do a good job. Go to only him and you will be in trouble. Good thing he doesn't write exams.

Oh My God! If the Math 128 chair werent writing the exams you'd be in trouble. He is a poor teacher, and he reviews material that is much harder than what you'll find on the test. He also blocks the projector constantly. Take the class with another proff
