Dr. Glen is not nearly as bad as people make him out to be. I went to class everyday and did all of the readings and got an A on every test. You definitely have to work hard in this class but an A is achievable

I think Dr. Glen has a lot of knowledge, but doesn't know how to teach it whatsoever. I am typically good at history and like history. While taking his 202 class, I've learned to hate history and dread that class. He's very confusing and his tests are impossible to pass.

Just don't take this professor. It was the worst class I've taken and he is probably the worst professor I have ever heard of. By midterm my class of 75 was down to about 20 because everyone dropped.

Do not take this class with professor Glen! I am a great student and always show up to class and apply myself, but this was the hardest class I have ever taken. His tests are nearly impossible to pass the majority of the class either fails or drops out. Highly recommend you avoid this professor at all costs!!!

Worste professor I have ever had. I would never recommend this teacher to anyone. I took his HIST202 class. 15 people dropped the class. On the first test, 3 out of 50 people got higher than a C.

Do not take this course. It is that simple. I am a great academic student, but this class has killed my GPA. If you need this class just for core credit, please do yourself a favor and get out. He tries to tell you that he is "not the average professor" and that he doesn't just crunch numbers, but he is lying. HORRIBLE PROFESSOR!

Hardest class I have ever taken. I studied hard for all quizzes and exams and I prayed I would get a C-. He does know his stuff but he doesn't allow any electronic devices, which makes it incredibly difficult to keep up when trying to take notes. To be honest I would absolutely not advise ANYONE to take this course even if you're a history major.

Very hard class. Study from the OUTLINES he gives you and KNOW them then you will be ok for tests/quizzes. Attendance isn't mandatory, but I don't know how you will do well w/out being in class. Knows his stuff. Talks from the start of class to the end of class w/out stopping, but we still were not able to cover all of the material.

Glen knows his history very well, but isn't very clear when teaching and doesn't answer questions well. His tests are very hard and he's a tough grader. This class will hurt your GPA.

Dr. Glen really knows his history, however, he isn't always very clear. His tests are extremely difficult, and there are only 3 quizzes and the midterm and final. You have to read the book to do well. Don't just take the class to cover core curriculum, it will just lower your GPA.

He seems to know his stuff. I had good grades in all my other classes this semester, Most everyone sitting around me got a C- or a D on their quiz. If you are serious about history he is a good professior, if you are taking this class just to cover a core curiculum get out while you can he will kill your GPA.

ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. I'm gonna have to drop this class because only 1/5 of the class received grades of a B or higher on the first quiz. Not to mention that there is only 2 tests after that and theres ur grade. Constant talking just of him from when he gets in till he tells us to leave. can't even keep up with notes. awful

One quiz, midterm, final... thats it. No explanations on your essay grades on the these tests. Hardest teacher i've ever had, arrogant and loves to hear himself talk. Very sarcastic and mocking or students asking questions. No fear in mocking you if you don't come to class even though attendance is not required. Show up, read the book, and pray!
