If you are not interested in geology or geography I would highly recommend NOT taking this class. Even if you are, his lectures are pretty dry and barely include participation or engaging activities. I fell asleep almost every class. All of the tests were online, which made getting an A pretty easy, but it was extremely boring

The only class I can say was more about learning than grading. You can tell he's very passionate about this and he became a professor to get others excited as well. Only negatives is there's very little grades, and he gets sidetracked a lot so don't always hit all the points we were supposed to in class, but gives study guides to counter that

Professor Hasse is a very nice man and teacher. He lacks in organizational skills a little and tends to lecture a whole lot. The class can get very boring very easily but if you pay attention, it shouldn't be too difficult. He is very laid back and chill and will gladly answer any questions you have. Not many assignments but several tests

lectures the whole time and then the material on the tests was not even covered in class. talks and talks and talks and gets off topic. i would never take his class again. do not take his class unless you want to struggle.

He is pretty good. I had him for a land use class. The only problems I can think of are he doesn't have the greatest organization and he seems to believe that every college student is the same (hates to read, hates to learn) which is not the case for me, so that got annoying. But overall I liked him and the class.

His class is fun and actually informative. He hands a study guide out which contains all the information that is on the tests which makes them really easy. You probably shouldnt be at college if u cant get at least a B on them. You would litteraly have to do nothing, and even then the material isnt all that hard to understand. Definitly take him!!!
