Text book will be your bestfriend, dont even bother attending lectures he makes so many mistakes he'll end up confusing you more than he can teach you. Go to TA for help instead, he's useless. Exams are mostly fair, ~ 2/6 questions are tricky cos there's always keeners in the class

nice prof and help me take useful notes. I just take notes and understand what he talks, then receive a high mark. The questions in exam are mostly what he had talked.

Terrible professor. He was disorganized and all over the place. Learned everything from the text book. He makes endless mistakes during lecture and his notes are extremely repetitive. Do not take this course with this professor if you cant learn on your own.

He has got to be the worst professor at SFU. lecture notes are sloppy and all over the place, and he tends to just derive formulas all class. Assignments deviate from class notes and examples heavily, which makes reading through all the chapters in the text necessary. No practice questions that are similar to the midterm or final are given BAD PROF

Disorganized, messy writing, and just an overall bad teacher. Course outline doesn`t even have the required reading for the week. He wastes time deriving formulas and the assignments are so much harder than the examples in the notes and the text. If you can learn on your own than take this clown. I can say he`s one of the worst profs ever.

He will only trying to memorize his notes, and then write it down on the overhead, and he has problems with scrolling the overhead. HE ALWAYS makes errors in writing... and he always write the words together, which is hard to read his writing, even worse than 312 prof. always read the book yourself, otherwise you wont understand..

Extremely disorganized. Ex. Had no idea there was a reading week break. Starts off a class with approx. 30min. recap of the previous lecture, which is not necessary. Assigns assignments for topics that have not yet been covered in class. Do yourself a favor and take this class with someone else.

WORST PROFF EVER! His is highly disorganized and keeps going off topic. He spends ridiculous amount of time on calculations and deriving formulas but is unable to explain the concepts. Make sure to read the textbook as his notes are hard to follow. During the lecture all you do is copy the notes that he writes on the overhead. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

I was irritated by how disrespectful I felt when I went to his office hour and asked questions. He had no patience to help me understand where I got wrong, but just kept telling me this was how it was. Super unorganized notes. I learned everything by reading the textbook.

Wikipedia is more useful than him. His lectures and notes are very disorganized and incomprehensible, and he makes bad jokes all through his lectures. For many occasions I have to rely on Wiki to understand the material. Nice guy by appearance, but not useful.

he's a nice guy and has fair exams. He may be a bit unorganized in class but by the end of the day if u pay attention and study his notes, u'll do just fine. I hate those who don't respect the prof by leaving before he finishes talking. I can tell he's not happy with those ****s but never said anything about it. Poor guy :(

This prof is pretty nice but he is super unorganized. He doesn't post slides and makes his students to take notes by hand! The course material isn't too difficult but I thought the prof was pretty bad.

He's very passionate about Finance. Exams are fair, notes are clear and more importantly it's understandable. Pretty much a great prof except he replies to e-mail only sometimes if it's important.
