I love Dr. Kearney! I've taken two classes with him and enjoyed both of them. He does grade papers hard but as long as you talk to him about them, he'll give you a pretty good idea about what he wants. He's also crazy which helps make classes more enjoyable and keeps you on your toes, since you never know wht he'll say next.

I liked the guy, but he does grade hard. You will be a better writer coming out of his class, but you might not want to challenge yourself that much when your grades mean so much. Some people will like him a little bit, some won't at all.

I forgot my book one day and he made me RUN from 2nd floor humanities to 2nd floor funk (my room), get my book and RUN back. I had 7 minutes before he marked me as absent and gave me a 0 for the day. Told me to go to hell in the middle of class! This is completely unacceptable behavior! BAD PROF!

Very demanding, though if you put forth the effort, incredibly rewarding. I went into his class dispising Shakespeare and left with a true passion for his plays. Kearney REALLY gives a thorough explaination of the whole text! I really enjoyed it!
