Cahokia Freshman Seminar is very very easy! Class runs short everyday, minimal effort required. Dr Kelly is super chill and you get to go on field trips. Would recommend.

Extremely hard to study for exams and the TA's are absolutely horrible at taking lecture notes. The course composes of guest lecturers, but it's extremely difficult to get lecture slides from them. Unless you're wide awake and jotting down their lecture for 1.5 hour, you will not pass this class.

Good professor - seems to really care about his students. The class consisted almost entirely of guest lecturers and was kind of a mixed bag (one lecture would be extremely interesting to me while the next would be a bit dull), but I would still recommend the class.

Professor Kelly doesn't teach many of the classes (there are guest lecturers), but when he does he is clear and engaging. The class itself is difficult to study for since each class there is a different lecturer, but the topics are extremely interesting and it's a lot of fun to hear about archaeological research.

I had him for the Cahokia Freshman Seminar class. The lectures tend to be drawn out, especially if you're not really into archaeology (I am an anthro major). There are minimal assignments, and he's available to help with them all!

Comment:
There was a different lecturer for each class, so he only taught 2 or 3 of them. His personal teaching style is fine, but the class was boring overall, and he was very bad at getting the readings up on time. If you like actually being able to study for the exams you have to take, I wouldn't recommend this class. (Pro: he gives extra credit.)

He's the nicest professor I've had at Wash U. and an expert on Cahokia. Definetely take his Cahokia class: it's an easy 'A' and you'll learn so much. He can be a little boring, but it's worth it.

Best class I've taken at WashU. Totally awesome Prof.--I spent the summer helping him dig at Cahokia--and while the lectures can sometimes be long he is genuinely interested in helping his students learn and be more capable people. Awesome guy, and SO FUNNY.
